Welcome to “Full Stop”, a website providing information and resources on child sexual abuse.
You are not alone.
This website is set up by the Bachpan Bachao Andolan (“Save the Childhood Movement”), headquartered in Delhi, India, to validate, empower and educate survivors of sexual abuse and child victims, as well as their loved ones and supporters. The website will be a platform for survivors, child victims and their loved ones to seek help in a safe and supportive environment. This website also provides comprehensive information to first responders viz. medical personnel, teachers, social workers and the police on what to do to tackle the issue of child sexual abuse in India. In this website, we use the term “victim” for the childhood experience and “survivor” for the adult experience and impact.
We believe that breaking the silence is a healthy step towards healing and it is our aim to facilitate a safe and supportive online support group for survivors and child victims who want to speak out and reclaim their voices. We recognize that speaking out is a difficult step, therefore, you have the option of not having to identify yourself when writing to us.
At times, your path to healing may seem never-ending and arduous, but take courage. Remember you are not alone. We are here to support you on your journey.

Decisions that Matter is an interactive graphic novel that seeks to educate guests about sexual assault on college campuses through the lens of bystander intervention. In DTM, a player takes on a role of a bystander to scenarios that can potentially result in sexual harassment and assault, and are given choices on how they can act in those situations. The consequences of the scenarios will play out differently according to the player's decisions during critical moments. Through these simulated experiences, guests can hopefully gain a better understanding of the circumstances under which sexual assault can occur and a sense of empowerment at the difference their actions can make.
Nirmal Initiative is a volunteer based organisation, works under the legal guardianship of Swami Ganeshanand Smriti Nidhi (a memorial trust) from Vrindavan in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Our work is centered around the prevention of violence. Violence is predictable, preventable, and a public health concern; therefore we are working to mitigate violence in the society, with specific focus on reducing vulnerability of children and women through preventive education programs, training on gender sensitisation, positive learning, community mobilisation, and forming multi-disciplinary team consisting of government and non-government stakeholders to address the cases of abuse/violence with sensitivity, as well as suitably intervene in policy formation. We focus on the positive aspects of human socialisation i.e. resilience and communication to encourage people's participation in problem-solving because violence affects our everyday lives, unless people do something constructive about it, the situation won't change for the future generation at all.
